Our focus is helping you, to feel heard, and respected in a non-judgmental space.

We approach therapy in an authentic and direct way, with compassion and cultural humility, providing you with tools, insight, and support toward meaningful growth.

We believe seeking therapy is a bold statement, a testament to your courage and willingness to invest in yourself. You come to us for healing, lasting change, and because you are ready to take meaningful steps toward personal growth.

Part of our BOLD MIND PROMISE is recognizing the vulnerability it takes to share your story. To be bold means having the courage to be yourself, share what feels hard, and ask for support. We meet children, teens, and families with warmth and understanding, making room for growth at their own pace.

We provide a space where you can explore difficult emotions, better understand yourself, develop wellness strategies, and create meaningful change.

For all of these reasons, we respect you, value your story, and deeply value the time you share with us.

We are honored to serve kids, teens and families in person.

Contact us if you think it will be a good fit.

Or feel free to call and ask questions around therapy and what to expect.

Our Team

Lisa Romero, LPCC 13128

A woman with shoulder-length dark hair, smiling, wearing a light-colored blouse and pearl earrings, standing in front of a wooden slat background.

My mission is to help you experience the power within to change your life.

Over the past 15 years, I have gained extensive experience working in diverse settings with a wide range of roles, from young professionals, and first responders to executive leadership roles.

I am passionate about helping professionals navigate high-pressure environments, addressing challenges like perfectionism, people-pleasing tendencies, and relational issues.

Witnessing clients achieve their "aha" moments and embrace small but transformative changes in their lives is deeply fulfilling.

I am a client-centered, attachment theory based therapist with experience treating complex trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression in children. My preferred interventions include CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Trauma Focused -CBT, mindfulness, expressive arts, and play-based interventions. I choose my interventions based on the developmental and emotional readiness of my clients.

Having parent participation is essential for a child’s success in therapy! I have extensive experience with parent coaching and teach Positive Discipline parenting courses.

A bit about me personally:

I love to travel! Having worked in Peru as an Au pair gave me the opportunity to develop fluency in Spanish. Traveling has now been put on hold while I raise my own young children, but am looking forward to sharing many adventures with them as they grow!
